Jonas Kaufmann, Anna Netrebko, Lisette Oropesa, Cecilia Bartoli, Roberto Alagna Headline Les Grands Voix’s 2024-25 Season

Les Grands Voix has announced its 2024-25 season.

Opening the season will be a concert featuring Roberto Alagna and Ludovic Tezier as they take on music by Bizet, Donizetti, Verdi, Wagner, and Moniuszko. Giorgio Croci leads the National Belgium Orchestra at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Performance Date: Sept. 23, 2024

Juan Diego Flórez appears at the Philharmonie de Paris in a performance featuring works by Donizetti, Verdi, Offenbach, and selections from numerous zarzuelas. Ana María Patiño-Osorio conducts the Sinfonía por el Perú.

Performance Date: Sept. 30, 2024

Freddie de Tommaso and Adriana Gonzalez present duos and arias by Puccini, Ponchielli, Bizet, and Cilea alongside Victorien Vanooster and the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon.

Performance Date: Sept. 8, 2024 (Six-Fours-les-Plages) & Oct. 7, 2024 (Théâtre des Champs-Élysées)

Jonas Kaufmann and Valeria Sepe join forces with Jochen Rieder and the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pflaz for a concert of Puccini arias and duos at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.

Performance Date: Oct. 9, 2024

Also at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Lisette Oropesa, Cyrille Duboi, Nahuel di Pierro, and Ève-Maud Hubeaux present a concert of works by Poulenc and Mozart. Bertrand de Billy conducts the Orchestre Natonal de France.

Sara Blanch, Cyrille Dubois, and Ambroisine Bré perform alongside Patrick Lange and the Ochestre de Chambre de Paris.

Victor Julien-Laferrière leads the Orchestre Consuelo in a performance featring Julia Lezhneva and Pene Pati.

Cecilia Bartoli and Mélissa Petit headline “Orfeo ed Euridice.” Gianluca Capuano conducts Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco.

Benjamin Appl, Emöke Baráth, Robin Tritschier, Tim Mead, and Lauranne Oliva perform in Händel’s “Messiah,” conducted by Hervé Niquet, who leads the Orchestre et Choeur du Concert Spirituel.

Eva Zaïck and Lauranne Oliva perform Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater” under the musical direction of Vincent Dumestre. They are joined by Le Poème Harmonique.

Performance Date: Jan. 18, 2025

Florian Sempey, Edwin Fardini, Ana Maria Labin, Léo Vermot-Desroches, Marion Labègue, Louis Morvan, and Catherine Trottman headline “Don Giovanni.” Alexis Kossenko conducts Les Ambassaduers-La Grande Écurie Orchestre et Choeur.

Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov perform a concert of Puccini with Michelangelo Mazza and the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.

Werner Güra, Thomas Dollé, Giuseppina Bridelli, Fabien Hyon, Julie Roset, and Louis Morvan perform the St. Matthew Passion under Enrico Onofri who leads the Orchestre National d’Auvergne.

Pretty Yende performs a concert alongside the Orchestre Nationl d’Île-de-France.

Jonas Kaufmann, Diana Damrau, and Helmut Deutsch present works by Strauss and Mahler.

The season ends with a concert featuring Patricia Petibon, Jean-Sébastien Bou, and Olivier Py alongside Laurent Campellone and the Orchestre Nationl d’Île-de-France.
