SY1 has announced its 2024-25 season entitled “Hidden Voices” featuring a star-studded lineup of singers.

The first concert will feature Sonay Yoncheva in the program “On One Star” featuring compositions by notable Italian composers.

Performance Date: Dec. 3, 2024

Polish Tenor Piotr Beczala will perform a concert entitled “Romance.”

Performance Date: March 19, 2025

Mexican tenor Rolando Villazón will visit Sofia for an evening of “Belcanto.”

Performance Date: April 2, 2025

The closing concert entitled “Queen” will showcase legendary mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato.

Performance Date: May 31, 2025

SY1 was created by Sonya Yoncheva and the first gala evening, realized by the production company was in Plovdiv – the hometown of Yoncheva. Yoncheva chose to launch her new company as a producer in front of the Plovdiv audience, at the Ancient Theatre in old Plovdiv.
