Teatro Regio di Parma Extends Superintendant’s Contract
By Francisco SalazarThe Teatro Regio di Parma has announced the extension of Superintendant Luciano Messi’s contract.
The board of directors of the Fondazione Teatro Regio di Parma announced that Messi will extend its contract until Dec. 31, 2027.
In a statement, Michele Guerra, President of the Fondazione and Mayor of Parma said, “With great conviction and satisfaction, the Board of Directors of the Foundation has decided to extend the contract of Superintendent Luciano Messi, not only to allow him to calmly plan the next three-year period of ministerial planning 2025-2027, but above all for the excellent work he has done in these almost two years in Parma, perfectly interpreting the needs and requirements of our Foundation, both from a artistic-managerial point of view, both in the relationship with the many city and territorial entities that gravitate around the Regio, as well as with national and international institutions”.
Messi added, “I thank the President and the Board of Directors for their renewed trust and all the collaborators and colleagues with whom I share the daily commitment in favor of the Teatro Regio. The expansion of the mandate is an even greater incentive to project the programming forward, guaranteeing the best artistic and management results and maximizing the positive impact for the benefit of the territory and our community.”
Messi began his term in 2022 and was the Superintendent of the Associazione Arena Sferisterio di Macerata from 2015 to 2022.
