Serena Saenz Announces Debut Album

Soprano Serena Saenz has announced she has recorded her debut album.

The Spanish soprano took to social media and said, “I just arrived in Romania to do one of the most exciting things that happened to me the recording of my first CD.  I can’t wait to share this project with all of you! Still a couple of days of recording to go! Thank you Matthias Samuil for supporting me all the way! Thank you Clelia Cafiero for being a wonderful conductor and making it easy!!! And thank you Job and Christina for making it happen.”

There is no information on the repertoire or on what label the will be released.

Saenz is an Operalia competition winner who has performed at the Wiener Staatsoper, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real, and Staastoper Berlin. This summer she is set to perform Elina Garança and  Plácido Domingo.
