Deutsche Grammophon’s Stage + is set to present three vocal performances in October.

First, the Georg Solti Accademia will present a star-studded gala at the Hungarian State Opera and will feature Aigul Akhmetshina, Freddie De Tommaso, Hera Hyesang Park, and Paul Grant, all alumni of the Georg Solti Accademia’s Bel Canto Course for Singers. This is the first time these four artists perform together.

The performance is supported by Rolex, the main sponsor of the Accademia.

Then Puccini’s “Tosca” will be showcased with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and Daniel Harding conducting. Eleonora Buratto will sing the title role alongside Jonathan Tetelman as Cavaradossi, and Ludovic Tézier as Scarpia. The cast is rounded out by Giorgi Manoshvili, Davide Giangregorio, and Matteo Macchioni.

The opera will be later released on CD on Deutsche Grammophon.

The final performance will be part of the XXIII Festival Internazionale di Musica e Arte Sacra. The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia will be led by Daniel Harding at the Basilica Papale di San Paolo fuori le Mura. They will perform Verdi’s Requiem with soprano Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha, Yulia Matochkina, Charles Castronovo, and Roberto Tagliavini.
